The Latest on The Windham Chapter

Welcoming in another beautiful winter, we're happy announce that we've begun our annual fundraising! We raised nearly $200,000 last season and have awarded grants to many wonderful mountain top organizations. A sincere thank you to all our donors who help make Windham a wonderful place to live, work, and play.We are most grateful for their loyalty and generosity to the Windham Chapter.

On October 20th, about 120 donors to the Windham Chapter of the Catskill Mountain Foundation gathered at the Yacht Club in New York City. They gathered to celebrate contributions of over $1.6m to Windham and the Mountain Top and to prepare for new projects in 2009 and 2010. Tim Woods, president of Windham Mountain, spoke to the crowd about the recent $10m of investments to the mountain, while Christine & Elliot Spero entertained the audience with piano, vocals and percussion. The spirit of Windham permeated the amazing Model Room while people viewed a slide show presentation, "A walk down Main Street", highlighting new businesses and finished construction projects in town.

Below, read about some great upcoming events on the mountain top. See you soon in Windham!
